Ta Earina-Spring Songs-Customs and Events
Mousiko Polutropo (Ioannis Kaimakis, Musical instruction, direction and supervision).
VASILIKO THEATRO(ROYAL THEATRE), Sunday 5/29
“Earina” is an hymn to life. A musical-theatrical performance of greek folk songs related to the turning of time from winter to spring, from hibernation to fertility, from darkness to light.
The performance forwards the truth of life, a truth that is not only joyful, but involves every age and every situation.
The songs and events that accompany them, survived to our days and leave us a strong taste of the old and ancient.
Their beginning is lost in the past, in the old days of history and the myth.
